We don\u2019t sell lighting though we will\u00a0prepare your shelves either\u00a0for puck lights or LED strips.<\/p>\n

Holes for pucks are\u00a0$20 per hole. Most pucks will fit a 2-1\/4\u201d hole, some require a different size. You must provide a dimensioned sketch clearly showing location and size of holes there are no exceptions we must have a sketch or we will complete production without holes.<\/p>\n

We also offer\u00a0a routed channel with a diffuser lens that we will flush mount\u00a0into your shelves, $35 each channel.<\/p>\n

Our channel will fit many of the strips available today, the inside dimension is 11\/16\u201d wide x 5\/16\u201d deep.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We cut the channel 2″ from the front edge of the shelf and terminates 1\u2033 in from the ends of the shelf\u00a0which intersects with the pocket for the steel bracket which in in a typical installation allows enough space to route a wire to the back edge of the shelf.<\/p>\n

Two important things to have in mind when planning your installation:<\/p>\n

1) The wiring to connect this sort of lighting is typically for use inside kitchen cabinetry and the like, and isn\u2019t building code-acceptable for installation in a wall cavity unless encased in solid conduit.<\/p>\n

2) Just about all LED strips must be plugged into a transformer or driver, so you\u2019ll need to find a serviceable location for the driver.<\/p>\n

We can install the channel or drill for pucks in any type of our wood shelves.<\/p>\n

We cannot cut a channel in stainless steel shelves however we can make holes for pucks in stainless.<\/p>\n
